Life Counts Now is an non-profit and non-governmental community based, voluntary organization. It is registered under the charitable trust Act-1882 bearing regd. No-5235, based at New Delhi, Life Counts Now started by the group of dedicated and experienced people, who has a heart to bring positive social transformation among the deprived communities. It has been working in the northern part of India since the year 2009. Last few years Life Counts Now is impacting the lives of children, women, youths and adults in various ways by establishing sustainable human development through self-help initiatives and capacity building, contributing to emergence of a society having democratic values with the coordination of Govt. Influencing and reorienting development policies, practices and programmes is one of the major areas of our work.

Indian Blind Sports Association (IBSA) organized a 19th National Sports Meet for the Blind on 13th-16th December, 2014 at prestigious Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium (Main Arena) in New Delhi. The event was inaugurated by Minister of State (Independent charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports, Sarbananda Sonowal, Member of Parliament Meenakshi Lekhi.Over 60 teams from 14 states were participated for the four-day’s events. Invitees participants were blind (B-1) and low vision (B-2, B-3) athletes from different organizations and institutions. Competition was conducted under two separate age divisions, namely, Youth Intermediate division for boys and girls between the age group of 14 to 17 years and Senior/ Open division for men and women not below 14 years of age. The athletes was compete in races, long jump, shot put, javelin, discus throws and chess.Indian Blind Sports Association (IBSA) had approached Life Counts Now by sending special invitation to involve in the hosting team. Life Counts Now (LCN) was decided to join in the hosting team to meet their objective of developing communities and societies.
Life Counts Now played a major role by stretching their hand to accomplish the goal of IBSA. Mr. Aditya S. Lal, who is a national athletician, was a representative form LCN was involved in organizing and hosting entire events. Life Counts Now (LCN) was also one of the major partners to supply jerseys/ track suits along with jacket to all the participants and office bearers.
